In the demo there was a part like that where people were tied to a stake burning. But like you said it entirely lost it's effect due to having a partner. Not just that the "feeling" just isn't there of being a horror/survival game. It feels more like a 3rd person shooter with sh*tty controls now.

Wait wait wait. You mean to tell me it's going to come out maybe a week or two after the game launches and they're complaining about bandwidth and fee's? I mean something sounds like bullshit to me. If the assests is already in game isn't the only thing they're really paying for is bandwidth space? Not to mention we have thousands of games now a days with online that doesn't try this sh*t. So what it's the first time being seen in the series it doesn't mean you CHARGE an additional fee for a ...

I'd also say Brutal Legend.

Eh it's really not that huge of a deal. It's just bigger fines for game employee's that sell mature rated games to minors and people who work in theaters who let kids/teens in to see R rated movies without adult supervision.

Speculation about a announcement that may or may not happen. I wouldn't be surprised if they would announce something about the new Timesplitter game that Free Radical was going to make before they got acquired. Since you know they are apart of Crytek now and they are primarily console devs.

Yes numerous PEOPLE who have worked on said games throughout the many years that worked for capcom made those games. You see what Capcom did with DMC2 and DMC4 didn't you? See what they did to Clover studio's didn't you? I'm just saying man they ain't saints and the same way you praise them for releasing some good games the same way you can call them out when they are trying to f**k you over.

It's a question of ethics man. Selling off a mode that SHOULD HAVE CAME WITH THE GAME for 5 bucks more is clearly bulls**t. So what they give you a quasi choice on weather you buy it or not. Here's the real kicker the game mode and maps are already there on the f**king disc, you're just buying a "Code" to unlock the mode. That's it. Namco Bandai did the same bs with Soul Cali 4 and Ace Combat. Capcom is doing it now with SF4 and Res5. Having content blocked off from you that's on th...

Criminally under rated. I brought it last year when it first came and i wasn't disappointed.

Eh it reminds me more of Heavenly Sword than GoW. The boss battles (the 3 of them that i've seen) doesn't come close in terms of comparing it to GoW and the QTE's seem a bit off. Now i'm one of the rare people who love QTE's but the words displayed when the button prompt comes up just rubs me the wrong way. Along with the "Great" and "Good" that pops up as well. The words just seem out of place and looks like it messes up the immersion a bit. Though the regular combat does...

Bayonetta is up next so i can't wait. I'm glad to see SEGA finally bringing out some new (good) games. First VC then Yakuza 3 and now Madworld.

I didn't notice a change at all in how the controls work. I personally have it set to standard 2 (crouch and shoot L2 and R2) and it works perfectly for me.

....Wow. People act like Gears invented the cover system in modern gaming (Killswitch did). Nevermind that Rainbow Six Vegas (another fps) had a cover system that allowed you to peak around corners and blindfire. Nevermind that even the original Killzone was pretty gray and looks very similar to Killzone 2 does now artistically. And lets just act like the uniforms they wear in Killzone 2 now is the exact same as uniforms they wore in the infamous target render in 2005 a entire year before Gea...

Great list. Sword of the Berserker was the first game i played with "Quick Time Events". It was hard as hell but such a fun game. I could never get past the boss battle with that big turnup/tulip type monster when you go to visit that village and church.

I'm really tired of people complaining about controls. It has WEIGHT and MOMENTUM. It's not twitch based. It's slightly slower and you just need to adjust to them after awhile. You're gamers man, adapt. As for the shotgun thing. Some guys i was playing with got mad because i was taking them out with the shotgun because i was playing as engineer and trying to get the secondary badge. So you know what they did? They all started using rocket launchers. And they were Generals while i was a 3 stri...

DoA2 i didn't like much on the dreamcast. It felt too much like a poor mans tekken. But Soul Calibur, MVC2, SF3 double impact (with both the original 3 and 2nd impact giant attack) was all quite awesome. There was more obscure fighting games i could name as well like Plasma sword that was fun. I'm surprised someone besides me actually remembered Canonspike. That game was sh*t fun playing with a buddy.

Almost every game is "repetitive". FPS: keep shooting. RPG: Kill those adversaries and raise your level. Sports games. Fighting games. Almost every genre is "repetitive".

As for me i'm looking forward to this game. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a nice little under rated gem. Too bad i won't have much free time during the summer to actually play this game like i would probably like to.

I'm actually glad they are doing a console port for this game since i was interested in this game but i only have a laptop. Unfortunately probably not many console owners are going to pick it up but i know i surely will. I just hope they don't dumb it down too much for consoles.

I guess i'm in the minority since i don't want a MGS5. I think the "MGS" series should be done. Now if they want to make a new spiritual successor to MGS i have less of a problem with that. Let Solid Snake die off already, his time is up.

It's true playing the game of Vet is a nice challenge. You can't miss a beat or you're pretty much screwed. Loved this article.
